The Laboratory of Applied Tests, aiming at continuous improvement and development of its services, has started testing the electronic equipment as regards thermal shock. Thermal shock tests are carried out in the Thermal Shock Test Chamber of the following parameters:
temperature range of “hot” chamber: (40 ÷ 220) °C,
temperature range of “cold” chamber: (-80 ÷ 60) °C,
time for moving the testing object between the chambers: < 10 s.
The result of thermal shock test of electronic equipment is valuable information for the manufacturer. It enables to verify design assumptions as regards real conditions of using the given equipment and to avoid high costs associated with potential damages and complaints.
