The scope of offered projects and services is as follows:

a realization of scientific, research, development and implementation projects in the field of longwall, roadway, vertical and horizontal transport as well as virtual prototyping of mechanical systems,
a development of expert opinions, technical documentation and offers,
designing of machines and equipment for selected longwall and roadway technologies:

longwall cutting machines,
armoured face conveyors and beam stage loaders,
belt conveyors,
powered roof supports,
road-headers and equipment,
drilling rigs, drilling jumbos and roof-bolters,
roadway loaders for loading the run-of-mine and for floor dinting,
rotary and percussive drills and hydraulic hammers,
rope-driven equipment for men-riding and transport of materials,
auxiliary equipment,
hydraulic, driving and control systems,
electric supply, control and driving systems.

KOMAG is authorized by the President of the State Mining Authority to develop opinions, concerning a co-operation of different types of powered roof supports.

In the domain of hoisting machines the following activities are offered:

technical and certification documentation of new hoisting machines, equipment and components,
documentation for a modernization, repair and adaptation of hoisting machines to new winding conditions,
consultancy and expert opinions connected with an operation of hoisting machines,
assessments and testing of hoisting machines’ technical condition,
assessments of improvements introduced in shaft transport systems,
supervision of manufacture and assembly jobs,
laboratory tests of pneumatic control systems of hoisting machines’ brakes.

KOMAG has an authorization No. 13/2002 of the State Mining Authority President to be an expert on developing and issuing opinions concerning hoisting machines.
