Accredited material tests of steel and cast-iron products and protective coatings, carried out by the Laboratory of Material Engineering and Environment, include:
- analysis of chemical composition of steel and cast-iron products as regards verification of material quality,
- hardness and thickness measurements of metal materials,
- roughness and thickness measurements of protective coatings,
- assessment of resistance to corrosion of metal materials and protective coatings.
