Simulation of vortex air movement in a roadway
The Division realizes the following projects in the range of underground engineering and geo-engineering:
- statistical calculations, determination of load capacity and designing of supports for mine workings,
- expert opinions on shaft supports,
- determination of support stabilization coefficient for sprags,
- determination of method for protecting workings and underground structures,
- projects of liquidation of shafts and other workings,
- designs of water dams,
- analyses of geotechnical constructions stability,
- designing of tunnel workings.
KOMAG is authorized by the State Mining Authority to perform tasks of experts for mining plant operation (No. 134/2008) in the scope of selecting bolts, shaft supports and supports of workings of the cross-section exceeding 30 m2.
